Who I Am (and Why I Built This)

I’m Lauren Tobey — and three years ago, I was you.


High-functioning on the outside. Falling apart on the inside.


Post-divorce, jobless, single mom in a pandemic, crying in the shower because it was the only place no one could hear me.

Everyone said, “You just need rest.”

But I didn’t need rest.


I needed to understand what my nervous system was actually doing.

So I got certified as a trauma-informed coach (CPD & IPHM), pulled from my degrees in psychology and adult learning, combined it with lived experience, and built the roadmap I desperately needed back then.

Not from a textbook.

From the ashes.

I have a phoenix feather tattooed on my foot with the words: “Because of you, I will not fail.”
It was a promise to my kids that I would rise.
